We are called to "go forth in peace and love and serve the Lord". We foster this through our dynamic sacramental life at Hackett Catholic Prep by believing that the sacraments are essential in deepening our relationship with God and strengthening our faith community.
At the heart of our school community is the celebration of the Holy Mass each week. Coming together as a school to worship unites us in Christ and reminds us of our shared mission to grow in faith, love, and service. These liturgies are moments of grace where students encounter Jesus in the Word and the Eucharist, drawing strength and purpose for their daily lives.
We warmly invite parents and family members to join us for Mass whenever they are able. Your presence not only supports your child’s faith journey but also enriches our school community as a whole.
We offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation one day each week to provide our students with regular access to God's mercy and healing. This quiet, personal encounter with Christ allows students to grow in self-awareness, receive grace, and be strengthened in their journey of faith.
In addition to weekly availability, we also hold all-school Reconciliation services during Advent and Lent—seasons especially suited to reflection and spiritual renewal. These moments help students prepare their hearts, renew their relationship with God, and experience the peace that comes from true repentance.
We encourage all students to take advantage of this powerful sacrament and the gift of starting anew.
Each week, we offer a full day of Eucharistic Adoration for our students and staff—a time set apart for prayer, reflection, and encountering Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. We warmly welcome parents and family members to join us in this sacred time of silence and devotion. Whether you stay for a few minutes or an hour, your presence is a beautiful witness to our shared faith.
Our school chapel is open throughout the day, providing a quiet and sacred space for students, staff, and faculty to pause, pray, and reflect. In the midst of a busy school day, the chapel offers a much-needed place to encounter God, find peace, and be reminded of His presence.
A special feature of our chapel is the Prayer Intention Board, where students and staff are invited to write and post personal intentions—whether for family, friends, or situations close to their hearts. These intentions become part of our shared prayer as a school community.
We also offer votive candles that may be lit in memory of deceased loved ones, friends, or community members. Lighting a candle is a powerful symbol of prayer, remembrance, and hope, helping students connect with the Communion of Saints and honor those who have gone before us.
Whether stopping in to offer a prayer, light a candle, write an intention, or simply rest in silence, students are always welcome. Teachers may also bring their classes for moments of prayer. We believe that having continual access to a space set apart for God helps nurture a habit of prayer and reinforces the truth that faith is not just part of the school day—it’s the foundation of it.
